Vauhti has long offered a fantastic wide-range glide wax under the LDR label. “LDR” was originally intended as a primary glide wax layer that accommodated variable condtions, but these new LDR glide waxes have a different application.

The formula of RACE LDRs have been specially developed as the best possible link between the ski base and the glide wax applied on top of LDR.”. We take this as Vauhti’s entry into the super hard, durable and contamination resist base layer glide waxes.
The powdered hot waxes will likely be more more resistant to contamination in dirty snow, but also more likely to perform best in new snow. The liquid version will perform best as a base layer if allowed a long cure time.
Race LDR White Powder 35g. Best all-around base layer.
Race LDR Black Powder 35g. Molybdenum additive improves performance on wet and dirty snow.
Race LDR White Liquid, 60ml. When used on top of LDR White or Black hot wax, can be a great speed layer when track conditions are highly variable.
