If you race, you should have these two klisters….or at least the KN44.
Fantastic not only for reliable grip, but indeed these are tough and highly resistant to contamination and icing. True klister monsters.
KN44 Nero. Swix recommends use in temperatures -3°C to +5°C (27°F to 41°F). We say don’t even bother with a thermometer, look at the crystal size and moisture content, and track hardness. Best in old coarse natural and artificial snow when the track is offering up some loose crystals, and moisture is increasing or already high. Very good in rain on old snow. A must have klister.
KN33 Nero. Swix recommends use in -7°C to +1°C (19°F to 34°F). Best in colder conditions with a mix of hard tracks and some loose crystals. Great grip and highly resistant to icing. While we love this klister, unlike the KN44 we often find equal or better solutions, but KN33 is often on the test ladder.
