Swix K Line Klisters

LCN has a focus on stocking products that are hard to find but valued by enthusiasts. So when we offer products from widely available manufacturers we tend to curate our offering. For example, Swix klisters easily available, and LCN thinks that the Swix Klister line is oddly divided into products that are useful but fussy and narrow in range, or products that are stunning and we can’t do without.

  • K22 VM Universal. When this came out decades ago I recall a race where our team was whomping the competition, and when we were asked what wax we used - the brand new K22 - the shocked response was “but that’s a touring wax!”. No, it wasn’t. K22 was one of the first truly universal “Universal” klisters (users of Rode Multigrade can join in on that argument). When the snow is wet, soft, and coarse, K22 can still deliver.

  • K21S Silver Universal. We don’t use this klister at all as we find better choices elsewhere. But it does work well and is highly valued by locals. This is one of the first klisters that could run well when there is fine grained snow in the mix.
