Star C2 Cold Powder
Cold hardeners are synthetic super hard glide waxes that are useful at time when the snow is so cold and abrasive that most cold and polar glide waxes just seem to stick. Kind of like skiing on sand!
Of note is that in some abrasive or very hard old snow, these hardeners when mixed with another hot wax can create a fast base to support primary running layer.
Star C2 is best when the snow is very cold man-made and has a higher moisture content.
C2 is now fluoro free.
