Rode RW Top Coat Blocks
Rode keeps surprising us.
For a company most known for their indespensible grip waxes, their entry into flouro-free glide waxing started great and keeps getting better.
The “RW” stands for “Roto-Wool”, and these are indeed very fast to apply to a ski base using wool roto-fleece. But if all you have is a cork with a felt backing, you can still do a fine application.
What is impressive is the results. All of them are safe to use as a top coat on just about any glide wax to deliver improved speed. More impressive is that every test last year proved that these would work on any snow type, including dirty old snow, and the performance had excellent durability.
RW50 Yellow. For snow temperatures 0C°... -3C°
RW40 Red. For snow temperatures -2C°... -6C°
RW30 Violet. For snow temperatures -4C°... -10C°
RW20 Blue. For snow temperatures -8C°... -20C°
