Swix Marathon Glide Wax

from $70.00

The first of the super hard and durable glide waxes, and still one of the best. Usually in use as a base wax, but if the budget allows, the durability makes it a great wax for training days…and days…and days.

White is for new snow, or all-around use, black is for old and very dirty snow.

  • Block is the original. Apply with an iron set at 155°C. Can also be applied using a roto-fleece.

  • Powder is the most durable (but not necessarily the fastest). Apply with an iron set at least to 155°C

  • Liquid is easiest to use. Of note is that an ironed-in powder, well scraped and brushed, can be faster with the liquid on top. Speed can sometimes be improved after a quick “flashing” from a hot iron. Use a soft brush to finish.
