The NF series glide waxes are a notable improvement over the already well respected Rex hot wax gliders. More speed, of course, but the performance band is amazing - all of them work well outside their stated temperature range. Great choices for marathon racing or when multi-day skiing.
All of them can be applied using the roto-fleece method.
NF11 Yellow. Harder than many wet snow glide waxes and thus more dirt-resistant. Rex claims the range of +2C/-2C, but real world will go into very warm temperatures. Iron temperature of 130°C
NF21 Blue. Whatever Rex did to their new NF racing formulation, NF21 has all the reliability of old Blue but an expanded performance that is nearly stunning. Very fast and durable of course. What is impressive is how fast it remains when conditions change in either direction! If temperatures drop or it starts snowing this will still run. Most surprising is that when the sun comes out and the temperatures rise and moisture starts coming to the surface, NF21 continues to provide outstanding speed.
Recommended in air temperatures between -2 and -8°C, but will perform well outside that range. Iron temperature of 135°C.
NF21G Black. This one is a monster.
First, look at the operating range of +2 to-12°C. Developed as a race level glide hot wax for new snow, it has proven to be a very durable base layer supporting liquid or powder top coats in old snow and somewhat dirty snow as well.
Tends to be very fast as the top layer in dry to damp fine grained new snow.
Iron temperature of 135°C.
NF31 Green. 31 Whatever Rex did to their new NF racing formulation, NF31 hot wax has all the reliability of their older Green gliders but an expanded performance that is stunning. Very fast and durable of course.
Recommended in air temperatures between -8 and -20°C, but will perform well if conditions warm.
In old abrasive snow this can yield fantastic durability in warmer conditions when applied as a base layer.
Iron temperature of 140°C.
