Rex Klisters

from $18.95

Rex klisters are amazing, they are often super cheap and deliver fantastic performance.

All come in 55g tubes.

Blue -5.0°C and -30.0°C. The temperature range is correct, this is one of the great blue klisters and really does work well at temperatures where a race might be canceled! Not limited to icy conditions, in very hard tracks or heavy glaze use as a cushion layer this can boost grip and speed of hard waxes

Purple 10.0°C and -7.0°C. Another Rex klister with a huge range. Very fast, and tolerant of tracks with mixed snow crystals. No need to fear lack of grip in hard glazed tracks!

Universal +10° to -30°C. Yes you read that temperature range right. Perhaps a top choice for a travel klister when you are limited on what to bring. On it's own tends to work best at the warmer end of the range. A very good klister to mix in to others to boost grip.

Gold 3.0°C and -7.0°C. A narrower range than most of their other klisters, this one has a great reputation for use in man-made snow that is glazing.

Red Special 10.0°C and 0.0°C. Special indeed. Think of fine grained new or falling snow that looks like snow but feels like rain. Sticky, slushy, glaunch, goo, all those euphemisms for saturated new snow. Hard to get grip, and this is the first klister to test. We find red klisters used for mixing are better from other brands, but in sticky wet new or falling snow, or drizzle, using a thin layer on a low cambered ski can be the win.

TK-2251 World Cup Race Services 10.0°C and 0.0°C. Here is the description from Rex - "A special klister for wet and coarse snow. Used as the final layer to ensure powerful grip". That doesn't say it all. For those who miss old Rex Brown OV, this is the the enhanced version. Definitely for old coarse snow, better in snow breaking up and even getting slushy and wet. We will just say one word, amazing. Fast. Great grip. Get a tube, you won't regret it.

Gold Molybdenum Race Services +4 and 5°C. If the snow is dirty, this is a must test. A bit softer than the regular Gold to provide a boost in grip

W1D3 Race Services. +10…-5°C. NEW! Just released fall ‘25. LCN hasn’t tested this one yet, but, hey, it is a Rex Race Service klister so we know it will be outstanding. Per Rex’ description - universal klister designed for a wide range of snow conditions. It has been developed to excel in everything from wet, coarse-grained snow to glazed tracks, and it even withstands dry snow spots in shadowy areas. Contains tar. Usually applied as a top layer over Purple klister. Update Feb 26. This is a great addition; as stated by Rex this has a very wide range both in temperature and snow crystal type, and track condition from firm glaze to soft and wet. Won’t name names, but in a side-by-side test with one of the best race klisters in these wide ranging conditions (three letters, start with L), the W1D3 ran equally.
