LillSport Overstrap Mitt

Here is a piece of gear that is easily overlooked, but when first tried one can wonder how one ever did without it.

Starting out a day skiing the hands often suffer until the body warms up. Worse, sometimes the body gets warm and the fingertips are still numb. Typical plan is to wear thicker and warmer gloves but after warming up these gloves often become sweat-soaked and cold. Or, put on a thin overmitt and after warming up, take the hand out of the pole straps, remove the shell mitt, and the strap up and ski.

These Overstrap Mitts are the solution you need.

Glove up with an appropriate glove for active skiing, get your hand secure in the pole straps, and then pull this Overstrap Mitt over the entire assembly. After warming up, removed the Overstrap Mitt, stow them in a pocket (or drinkbelt pocket) and keep skiing. No need to take your hands out of the pole straps!

Machine washable.
