Almost all the ski wax companies make good glide zone cleaners but the wax wizards at two Finnish companies have delivered effective cleaners also leave in place a hard and durable glide wax. Clean and ready to ski!
Don’t skip cleaning glide zones before glide waxing!
Apply the liquid cleaner onto the gliding surfaces; follow with a fine/soft metal brush to get into the stone grind pattern. Wipe clean.
If the cleaning cloth comes off especially dirty, repeat the process.
After drying completely finish with by scrubbing with a nylon brush.
DO NOT use to clean the skin insert on skin skis! The solvent with damage the glue holding the skin in place. But do use on the glide zone.
Can also clean the grip pattern on “waxless” skis.
